Recently a friend was checking out a prototype of HiLO Lens. He is in Germany and we were video conferencing. It is great to have someone to bounce ideas off. I was more than surprised when at the end of our conversation he said he would like to help fund HiLO Lens!

Funding the development of HiLO Lens is an uphill battle. It is a fulltime job but will not generate revenue for quite some time. But most important for me was the validation of the project. As they say “money talks”. It is one thing to say a project is neat, most friends are not going to focus on the negative. It is quite another thing to risk loosing money if the project it not so neat.

The funds will help produce the final prototype and my new business partner is keener than ever to provide feedback on the project. Agreeing to accept investment was a big step for me because I’m now committed 110% to delivering the promise iCathYa holds.

I’m off to find a manufacturer….
