Rather than diving into the details of a new iPhone camera accessory I’ll discuss the end result. This article touches on street photography and the next article will touch on ground level photography.
Street Photogaphy is a type of documentary photography that features subjects in candid situations within public places.
Related closely to street photography is candid photography. I really don’t like posing for photos. Many people (including myself) don’t particularly like being in photos. When using a camera I like to catch people in natural positions. I don’t mean embarrassing or funny shots, there is a something very satisfying about making someone look good on film. For people who are camera shy, the best way is with a candid shot.

When I started looking more into street photography I found a whole sub culture.
There is even a Wikipedia page. After great debate and discussion that page tells us that “Street photography uses the techniques of straight photography in that it shows a pure vision of something, like holding up a mirror to society.” I’m looking forward to exploring this more.
