We agree – HiLO Lens is awesome for getting unique video angles.

A few weeks ago I was in Union Square, NYC with a friend. We came across an amazing street performer playing the Hang instrument - a beautiful and unique sound. Javier from www.murugalas.com let us film his performance for Kickstarter – check it out below.

Please excuse my poor video skills – I need to practice more… The good news is that you can be confident of getting much better results yourself :)

But when syncing video with the iPhone it goes into the Videos area not the camera roll. Viddy only allows us to upload from the camera roll.

To transfer the edited video to the camera roll, attach the video to an email and send this to yourself. When viewing the email on your iPhone, hold your finger on the video attachment and there is an option to save the video. This saves the video to the camera roll.

Then you can upload to Viddy.

* This works for me on an iPhone4 running iOS 5.0 your mileage may vary.

It took months for these to be made and I’m thrilled with the results.

One of the benefits of HiLO Lens is a wider angle of view when shooting video. Below is a very short clip showing the difference with an iPhone4.

The iPhone design reduces the angle of view when shooting video. It is a big reduction. To see for yourself, open the native camera app and switch between photo and video mode.
